Okay so I didn't plan to actually submit anything this week or do anything much, but I got bored last night and started doodling and I got the hankering to draw the violin. I'm a violinist and have been for the last 12 going on 13 years now. My favorite classical composers are Vivaldi, Chopin, Mozart and several others, but those are my top three. Anyways, here is a just a fun piece and don't expect a lot of pieces like this from me because this was just a spur of the moment sort of thing. I have tons of fun sketches that I have in my little sketch book, but I don't intend to post those. Feedback and comments are always welcome. :]

Utensil(s) Used: .7mm mechanical pencil and Q-tips for shading.
Time: No freaking clue.

Oh I remember listening to classical music when I was little and wanted so badly to play the violin. But I never got to when I got older. Instead I played the Flute and Marimbas and such. Sadly though I grew out of playing the flute. lol

This is such a beautiful piece. I love the dark lines and other designs. It makes the violin look so alive.

That's actually how I started playing the violin. When I was 6 years-old, I was watching a concert on PBS and I saw the violin soloist playing and I fell in love with it. I looked at my mom and told her I wanted to play the violin and she said, "You do?" I responded, "Yes, but I think I'll wait another year until I'm older older so I'll be able to handle it."

Weirdest child ever = Me. :XD:

Thank you so much and I am really glad you like the piece. You should try and learn to play the violin. It's tough and challenging, but worth it in the end. :)
