Get off My Island. Now!

Don't piss off Amazons. Ever. It's never a good idea, seriously. I don't know if any of you have seen it where Diana is pissed, but let's just say there is either lots of quick ass-kicking or death. Lol, she's a beast and I love her. Anyways, this was penciled by wgpencil and I had to actually do a little inking myself since my boyfriend couldn't do it for me at the time. And let's just say, I really don't like inking. Haha, as much as I enjoy coloring and drawing, inking is way too detailed for me. I can wing stuff with drawing and coloring, but inking... not so much. Anywhoo, the colors for this were extremely time consuming. I originally wasn't going to paint flames and a smoke filled sky, but it seemed appropriate for the situation and the pose. Walter's expression of Wonder Woman demanded it. I really wanted to show a scene where Themyscira had been invaded or attack and Wonder Woman had lost her temper. And all the lighting, by the time I was done, I am pretty sure I had over fifty layers. That hair was sure time consuming too, but it turned out quite well. Fire is something I am relatively new to painting so it was tricky getting the lighting right within in. I am very happy with how this turned out and if anyone wants me to do a New 52 version of her clothing style, I'll do it with enough requests. This is probably my best piece yet, you guys be the judge. Anyways, feedback and comments are always welcome!
