Description
I'm not much of an manga reader or anime watcher, but thanks to my awesome friend, Slayer-Sango, he encouraged me to watch Sailor Moon. And sonofabitch. I really like it. So I've been watching the newer show, Sailor Moon: Crystal. Usagi is a bit dumb sometimes but she is sweet and funny and somehow even when she's a cry-baby, she's still endearing. Rei or Sailor Mars is my favorite (that has been revealed so far for me in the area where I'm at in the show). So after watching the show, I know I needed to paint a piece if not several pieces of the sailors. So I decided to start with Sailor Moon (Usagi) with the lines provided by the ever talented Artgerm. Now, I know a lot of other fellow artists have colored the lineart but I did notice whilst browsing that there were very few painted versions of the piece so this gave me a great opportunity to bring something a little fresh and different to the lineart and I hope my effort and energy put ibto the piece helps show that. Anyways, feedback and comments are always welcome!

Terrific painting of Sailor Moon!
Like yourself,I'm not that much of a manga reader or an Anime watcher(although,I've made some exceptions for some graphic novels and some Anime films).
But I do have an character,Astro-Man, who is basically an Asian Superman who is going to be a scientist,an astronaut and a former soldier(I'm basing him on Dr.Jonny Kim,a doctor,a former Navy SEAL AND an astronaut for NASA and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes President someday)and I'n considering doing the comics that I'm going to be doing for Astro-Man in the Anime style of art! I think that it would be an interesting way to do a comic!
I have to say,I really love the vibrant and beautiful colors for this painting! Her eyes are so blue! Those bright blue eyes would put even Frank Sinatra AKA ''Ol' Blue Eyes'' and Captain America to shame! Ha! Ha!
